Man I used to play the hell out of this song back in high school! I love the Cure!  Yeah... I really love the Cure! Their words had so much meaning... deep meaning for me back then. When I hear them now I am brought back to my days of youth and young love...

A great deal of our youth is spent in crazy, passionate love right? That love that hurts so bad it hurts to move sometimes. Yeah, we were either in love, yearning for love or writhing in pain from broken love.

Emotions so penetrating and raw, they made us grow up so fast. The Cure followed me all the way through High School and College. It followed my highs and lows in love and relationships.

As I grew older I stopped listening to The Cure for some reason. Perhaps I could draw some "pseudo-meaningful" reason for that. Or perhaps, I just started listening to other music. Who knows!

YouTube has become my new friend in drawing me back into older music I hadn't listened to in a long time. Kick back, have a few beers and throw on The Cure or Depeche Mode and I can teleport back to those youthful days.... Friday night football games, dances in the gym, rallies in the auditorium, walking down the hall and hoping to get a glimpse of that one girl....
